The LEARNING CENTER
The SeniorNet Learning Center at Marsh Creek
Community Center is equipped with ten laptop computers, and a soon-to-be
connected wireless multi-function scanner/copier/printer. All of these
computers have high-speed Internet access to the
world-wide-web and email via the City of Raleigh's Guest wireless
network.
Students are assigned to individual
computers, and Instructors and Coaches are able to observe and assist at every
station.
Each of the ten computers -- purchased and
installed in August 2011 -- is a HP G7-1150US Notebook PC with:
