Getting Started with RALEIGH
SENIORNET
To become part of Raleigh SeniorNet
please call 919-954-3688 and leave your name & telephone
number. Since SeniorNet is
composed of volunteers we do not have an administrative staff, so we ask
that you leave your name and
telephone number and we will call you back to start the SeniorNet
registration process.
Once registered you will be ready to
sign-up for a course starting with the next session. Please click
on the Current Schedule link on the
left side of this page to determine class session dates. You will
also receive a Raleigh SeniorNet
mailing with information about upcoming class schedules
as-well-as an enrollment form for you
to fill out and return to ensure your seat in the next class.
Cost
The cost of each Raleigh SeniorNet
class varies from $10.00 to $40.00, depending on the length of the
class, and is to be paid at time of
registration.
As of January 1, 2007, membership in
SeniorNet National is encouraged, but optional. To join SeniorNet
A Special Note:
SeniorNet is always looking for new
volunteers -- people over 50 with some computer experience and/or
administrative skills who would enjoy
working with other Seniors. Some volunteers will help students
develop computer skills as an
Instructor or Coach. Others are needed to process paperwork and those
with administrative skills are busy
ensuring everybody is in the right place at the right time.
